JEE Main 2019 Answer Keys Released- Calculate Your Score Now!


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2019 answer keys for the April session of both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on its official website. All the candidates who have appeared for JEE Main April exam can check the answer keys at jeemain.nic.in. The candidates can also download their question paper and response sheet from there.

NTA also released a notification stating that if the candidates are not satisfied with the answer key released by NTA, they can challenge it. The link to submit challenge/objection will be available after logging in and each challenge/objection will attract a fee of Rs. 1000/- which will be reimbursed if the objection is found to be legitimate. The last day to submit the objection is April 16th, 2019.

How to Check JEE Main April 2019 Answer Keys?

Here are the steps to check JEE Main 2019 answer keys:
  • Visit the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nic.in
  • Click on 'Display question papers and response' tab on the homepage.
  • Log in using either application number and password or application number and date of birth.
  • The answer key will appear on the screen and the candidate can take a printout for future reference.
How to Challenge JEE Main April 2019 Answer Keys?
Here are the steps to challenge the JEE Main 2019 answer keys:
  • Log in into the JEE Main website using your registration credentials.
  • Click on 'Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key'.
  • The answer key will be displayed, where you can choose another correct answer.
  • Save your claim.
  • Option IDs you have challenged will be displayed on redirected page.
  • You can upload evidence to support your answer and click 'Save your Claim Finally'.
  • Lastly, make the payment (Rs. 1,000/question).
The National Testing Agency is scheduled to release the result of JEE Main April 2019 exam on 30th April 2019. The candidates who will qualify JEE Main will be eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2019, which is the next level for admissions to Indian Institute of Technology (IITs).

JEE Main April 2019 Important Instructions–You must not miss!



JEE Main candidates gear up, the time is here! The National Testing Agency, NTA has released an advisory notification for candidates appearing for the entrance exam in April 2019 which candidates must know to avoid being in any hassle and spoiling the crucial day. JEE Main April 2019 will be conducted from April 8 to April 12, 2019 (except April 11 due to general elections).

Here are the important instructions by NTA for all the candidates-
  1. The admit card must be downloaded in advance from JEE Main’s official website: www.jeemain.nic.
  2. Aspirant should crosscheck all the important details in the admit card like reporting time, gate closing time, shift timings, date of examination, and venue of the test.
  3. Check your admit card, and inform NTA if you find any mistakes in your admit card. As you will not be allowed to sit in the exam with wrong details. So if have you entered the wrong details while applying for JEE Main April 2019. Check here to make the corrections.
  4. Visit your exam center half an hour early. Locate your center using ‘Center Locator Tool’. Students are advised to visit the exam center a day before to avoid any issues in the examination day. JEE Main 2019 List of Required Documents in Exam Hall
Exam Authority have released a list of important documents to be brought to the examination hall, which are mentioned below.
  1. Coloured A-4 sized printout of the admit card
  2. Passport size photo same as given for admit card.
  3. Government authorized identity proof (PAN card, Driving Licence or Aadhaar card)
  4. Certificate issued by competent authority (Only for PWD category students)
JEE Main 2019 List of Prohibited Items at the Exam Centre
After the strict rules of checking followed in various Examination, the exam conducting authority released a list of prohibited items for the JEE Mains 2019. Such as-
  1. Any kind of bag/handbag.
  2. Any instrument, geometry/pencil box.
  3. Any paper, stationery, textual material (printed/written).
  4. Any electronic device like mobile phone, pager, calculator, or camera.
  5. Electronic watches also aren't allowed.
Although you are not allowed to carry these items inside your examination hall but you may keep your belongings in locker (If provided).
JEE Main April 2019 exam will be conducted in two shifts: First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). JEE Main 2019 is the computer-based exam. JEE Main April 2019 Form Correction Process & EWS Registration Started – Check it Out!

                      

Have you entered the wrong details while applying for JEE Main April 2019? Well, don’t worry! The application form correction process for JEE Main April 2019 has been activated on the official website of JEE Main and NTA, jeemain.nic.in and nta.ac.in, respectively. The candidates who wish to make necessary changes in their online application form can do it by March 15, 2019. Thereafter, no corrections in any particulars will be provided under any circumstances.

Apart from the correction process, the NTA has open the window for EWS (economically weaker section) quota registration today. This is applicable for all students of January and April session of JEE Main 2019. Official notification regarding the same is attached here.

What can be corrected in JEE Main April 2019 Application Form
  • You can change the choice of paper from Paper I to Paper II (and vice versa) or opt for both papers.
  • You can change the spellings in your Personal Details.
  • You can edit the information related your academics.
  • Medium of examination can be changed from English to Hindi/Gujarati or vice versa.
  • Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth can also be changed.
  • You can also change your category.

            

Aspirants must note that you will have to pay the additional fee if applicable while making the correction for JEE Main April 2019. The additional fee (if applicable) should be paid by the candidates through Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking and UPI only.
JEE Main April 2019 Application Form Corrections
Here are some steps to make JEE Main April 2019 online corrections:
  1. Visit the official website of JEE Main or NTA, jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link 'Apply for JEE(Main) April 2019'
  3. Already registered for JEE (Main) April 2019 can click on login
  4. Either sign-in with JEE (Main) January 2019 credentials or other login details
  5. Carefully make the required changes and hit submit.
  6. Take a print out once you’ve submitted the corrected form for future references.

2,24,000 Candidates to be shortlisted For JEE Advanced 2019-Check Eligibilty Criteria


Engineering aspirants take note! Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, has released a notification on its official website regarding the upcoming JEE Advanced 2019 examination. As per the official notice, the top 2,24,000 candidates (including all categories) of JEE Main 2019 examination will become eligible for the JEE Advance examination. However, the total number of candidates may be slightly higher than 2,24,000 in the presence of ‘tied’ ranks/scores in each category.

JEE Advanced 2019 Registration Process

The registration process would begin in May first week after JEE Main 2019 Final result and ranks are declared. The cut off for the JEE Advanced 2019 examination would be shared at the time of declaration of JEE Main 2019 Rank. As per National Testing Agency circular, the JEE Main 2019 rank is expected to be announced by April 30, 2019.


JEE Advanced 2019 Registration Fees
For Indians (including PIO/OCI)
  • Female Candidates (all categories): Rs 1,300 + GST
  • SC, ST, PwD candidates: Rs 1,300 + GST
  • For all other candidates: Rs 2,600 + GST
For Foreign Nationals
  • Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from Non-SAARC countries: USD 150 + GST
Registration Fee in Foreign Countries
  • All Indian citizens (including PIO/OCI): USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from SAARC countries: USD 75 + GST
  • Candidates from Non-SAARC countries: USD 150 + GST
JEE Advanced 2019 Eligibility Criteria
  1. Performance in JEE Main 2019 - Candidates must score qualifying marks in JEE Main 2019 to be among the top 2,24,000 eligible for JEE Advanced 2019.
  2. Age limit of candidates - Candidates must be born on or after October 1,1994. However, SC, ST and PwD candidates are provided 5 years relaxation i.e. their birth date should fall on or after October 1, 1988
  3. Number of attempts - JEE Advanced allows only 2 chances to appear in exam in two consecutive years. Candidates should not have appeared for JEE Advanced 2017.

  1. Appearance in Class 12th board or equivalent qualifying examination –
  • A candidate must have appeared for Class 12th examination for the first time either in academic session 2017- 2018 or 2018-2019.
  • However, if the examination Board of Class 12th has announced the results for the academic session 2016-17 after June 2017, then the candidates of that board who appeared for their class 12th board exam in 2017 are also eligible, but they meet the other eligibility criteria.
  • If the Board of Class 12th examinations have declared the results for the academic year 2016-17 before June 2017 but the result of the applicant was withheld, then he/she is not eligible for JEE Advanced 2019.
  1. Earlier admission at IITs
  • A candidate must NOT have secured admission in any of the IITs even if they have not attended the classes in the program.
  • Candidates who were admitted at any of the IITs but their admission was cancelled after joining due to any reason are also NOT eligible.
  • Candidates admitted in a preparatory course in any of the IITs for the first time in 2018 can appear in JEE (Advanced) 2019.

For Foreign candidates, only criteria 2,3,4 and 5 are eligible. Indian citizens are required to fulfill the criteria as mentioned above. Also, Supreme Court had last month ruled that the upper age limit for IIT JEE examination should be removed. Hence, the eligibility criteria as mentioned in point 2 is expected to be modified. You are advised to keep a close check on the official website of JEE Advanced which is jeeadv.ac.in for clarification on the age limit order.
