NTA Provides Digital Tool to help Candidates Locate JEE Main Exam Centers- Check Out!


The National Testing Agency (NTA) has come to the aid of the candidates appearing for JEE main exam in April. NTA has released a Center Locator feature on JEE Main website (jeemain.nic.in), so that the students can easily reach the center before 30 minutes. Aspirants who are going to appear in the April exam 2019 can take help from this Centre Locator feature to reach their exam center on time. How to Use Center Locator Tool by NTA?
Here are the steps to use the Center Locator Tool provided by NTA:
  • Go to the JEE Main official website, nic.in
  • Click on the “Center Locator” tab.
  • Select your exam center in the dropdown list.
  • Click on the link “View location” link.
Document to be carried JEE Main Exam Center
  • Printout of JEE Main Admit Card 2019.
  • One Passport size photograph.
  • A valid Photo ID proof.

Do keep your admit card safe and check all the details on it.

The exam will be conducted in fully Computer-Based Test mode at different centers located in different cities throughout the country and abroad from April 7 to 12, 2019. The exam will be conducted in two shifts: First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).

SRMJEEE 2019 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme


SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is a national level entrance examination conducted once a year by SRM Institute of Science and Technology. SRMJEEE 2019 UG examination is going to be held from 15th-25th of April 2019 for admission to different B.Tech courses across the various campuses of SRM University viz. Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani, and Ghaziabad. All aspirants must have already finished their preparation for the upcoming exam and have started revision. For all the candidates appearing in the SRMJEEE 2019, it is always important to understand the exam pattern and marking scheme of the exam in order to make their preparation easy. This year some major changes have been made in the SRMJEEE 2019 exam pattern. Here, we are providing all the necessary information about the changes made in SRMJEEE 2019 that you must know before appearing in the Exam.

About SRMJEEE 2019 Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

SRMJEE 2019 Exam will be conducted in an online mode, i.e. computer based test (CBT) and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. The medium for answering the exam paper will be English only.


The question paper will comprise of three sections- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology. Candidates opting for B.Tech Biotechnology should appear for Biology in place of Mathematics. There will be a total of 105 multiple choice questions (MCQs), each carrying 3 marks. Each MCQ will be provided with 4 options out of which one will be the correct answer.

There is no negative marking, i.e. no marks will be deducted for any wrong attempt and hence, candidates are advised to attempt all the questions. Earlier, 1 mark was deducted in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and 0.7 marks were deducted in Biology for each wrong attempt.

JEE Main April 2019 Form Correction Process & EWS Registration Started – Check it Out!

                      

Have you entered the wrong details while applying for JEE Main April 2019? Well, don’t worry! The application form correction process for JEE Main April 2019 has been activated on the official website of JEE Main and NTA, jeemain.nic.in and nta.ac.in, respectively. The candidates who wish to make necessary changes in their online application form can do it by March 15, 2019. Thereafter, no corrections in any particulars will be provided under any circumstances.

Apart from the correction process, the NTA has open the window for EWS (economically weaker section) quota registration today. This is applicable for all students of January and April session of JEE Main 2019. Official notification regarding the same is attached here.

What can be corrected in JEE Main April 2019 Application Form
  • You can change the choice of paper from Paper I to Paper II (and vice versa) or opt for both papers.
  • You can change the spellings in your Personal Details.
  • You can edit the information related your academics.
  • Medium of examination can be changed from English to Hindi/Gujarati or vice versa.
  • Name, State of Eligibility, and Date of Birth can also be changed.
  • You can also change your category.

            

Aspirants must note that you will have to pay the additional fee if applicable while making the correction for JEE Main April 2019. The additional fee (if applicable) should be paid by the candidates through Credit/ Debit card/ Net banking and UPI only.

Here are some steps to make JEE Main April 2019 online corrections:
  1. Visit the official website of JEE Main or NTA, jeemain.nic.in or nta.ac.in.
  2. Click on the link 'Apply for JEE(Main) April 2019'
  3. Already registered for JEE (Main) April 2019 can click on login
  4. Either sign-in with JEE (Main) January 2019 credentials or other login details
  5. Carefully make the required changes and hit submit.
  6. Take a print out once you’ve submitted the corrected form for future references.
